2 customer seminars and a visit at the second largest wastewater treatment plant in Europe

      At 14th and 16th of March, two customer seminars were held in Athens and Thessaloniki, attended by 80 customers each. The advantages of Online measuring equipment and the opportunities for process optimization were presented to the participants from municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants. With the optical calibration free oxygen sensor, the robust ISE sensors for NH4 and NO3 and the spectral probes to measure carbons and NO2 without reagents, the core products of the IQ Sensor Net were presented. After a set of presentations and discussions, a hands-on was conducted after lunch. In 4 blocks, the customers could be convinced of the easy handling of the devices and the low maintenance needs of the sensors.

     Besides these seminars, the second largest wastewater treatment plant in Europe was visited in Athens. To the customer’s complete satisfaction, the here installed sensors of WTW (e.g. a spectral sensor) are working perfectly. They lead to an increased process transparency and an optimization of the treatment processes. The size of the plant with a capacity of approx. 1.000.000 m3 wastewater per day is extremely impressive and proves the wide application range of our sensors.
