Today, the Dr. Födisch Umweltmesstechnik AG; one of the leading providers of emission, environmental and process measurement technology, has taken over Testa GmbH from Munich (Germany), manufacturer of measuring devices for hydrocarbon (so-called FID), thus continuing its growth strategy.

There has been an ongoing and trusting business relationship between the two companies for several years, which is now leading to a takeover as part of a succession plan.

With the acquisition of Testa GmbH, the existing product and technology portfolio will be expanded to include flame ionization detectors (FID). The FID analysers are used for emission monitoring at incineration plants, for process analysis, e.g. in the oil and gas industry or the chemical industry.

The managing director, Dr. Bernhard Ulrich, is still available with his expertise for a transition and integration phase.
